The purpose of this guide is to give you some background information on the different databases available to you.
All databases are provided by the library to help you locate journal articles for your studies. Some databases will also show you chapters in books, books, reports and conference proceedings
No database can be rated as the best one to use. A more effective approach is to repeat your search across them all. When you start seeing the same records on each database you will have used each one effectively
These look like any other database but only include journals published by them, so check out other resources as well.
If you need a book or article that the UC Library doesn't have access to you can request it from another library through the free interloans system.
