What are journals?
Journals are published regularly (usually quarterly or monthly). They publish the latest academic research and are usually peer-reviewed or refereed. The articles have been reviewed to ensure there are no mistakes in the methodology or reasoning. You might hear them called:
- peer-reviewed journals
- refereed journals
- research journals
- scientific journals
- scholarly journals
