Education Library Relocation

Kia ora koutou

As the College of Education is relocating to the Ilam campus in December 2017*, the Library is planning for the move of the Education Library.

All material and services, including the distance service will remain at the Education Library until the Library closes on 20th November 2017*.

Over the summer months Dec 2017- Jan 2018 the collections in the Education Library will move to the Central Library, in the Puaka-James Hight building.

  • The classroom and Māori collections will be located on Level 4 of Central Library.  This includes materials such as AV, kits, DVDs, readers and school journals.
  • High demand items will be located on Level 2.
  • Books and journals currently on Level 2 of the Education Library (items with Library of Congress classification) will be shelved on Levels 4-11 of Central, according to classification.

This guide will be used to post updates on planning and moving process.  If you have any questions please contact us using the contact information to the right.
