Tāmata Toiere
This is an ongoing project of Te Ipukarea - The National Māori Language Institute - that aims to provide comprehensive information about waiata and haka. Where possible, this will include the lyrics, a translation, an explanation of the context behind the composition and the reasons it was composed as well as biographical composer information and audio/sound files. The website has the option for English or Māori text.
