This half day workshop goes through the main questions and problems surrounding Research Data Management.  In a workshop environment attendees go through a series of questions, and create a plan for their own research, with practical and achievable solutions to sotring, publishing, gathering and working with their (or other's) data.

This workshop can be delivered for a specific research group, or for a non homogenous group.  It can be tailored for any specific discipline.

Data management plans are increasingly becoming required as part of grant and funding application.  This workshop is a facilitated, three hour session that prepares attendees to create their own robust data management plan.

Suitable for

Entire research groups, postgraduate students, anyone expected to create a data management plan, or wants to look at the issues surrounding the collection, storage and publication of research data.

Requirements

This is a pencil and paper workshop, no laptops or devices are required.
