Download Links

EndNote X9 for MAC OS X

EndNote X9 for Windows

EndNote 20 for Windows

You will be asked for your UC login.

To install EndNote 20 double click on the EndNote20.exe file downloaded from the above link; this will create two new files, EN20Inst.msi and License.dat. Double click on EN20Inst.msi to start the install. The license.dat file must be present in the same folder.

Your library format will change - see our Installation Notes.

Additional Files

The Library provides some modified and additional Filters, Connection, and Styles files.

Note that any zipped files need to be 'unzipped' i.e. right-click and choose the extract command. Copy these files to your EndNote file folder location.

If you just need the APA 7th style, note that this is not 'zipped'. Just save it into your styles folder.

Editing Multiple References

References imported from different databases sometimes contain words in uppercase. You do not need to change these manually.

You can

  • Highlight the references you want to change in your EndNote Library (do not omit this step!)
  • Go to References | Show Selected References
  • Go to Tools | Change/Move /Copy Fields
  • Choose the Change Fields Tab
  • Choose the field that you wish to change from the drop down list
  • Choose the Change option you require - lowercase is chosen here
  • Choose OK to apply the changes
  • Check the details are correct then click OK to confirm the change
