Book searching - beyond UC libraries

Thesis and Honours students are likely to have time to look beyond UC resources.
With this in mind some 'mega search' catalogues are listed below:

The National Union Catalogue (NUC) on Te Puna
Search all the major NZ library catalogues at once.
Google Book search
Estimated to contain around 25 million titles.
Use it to identify likely titles and then request via interloan.
WorldCat: The world's largest library catalogue
The name says it all really! WorldCat attempts for the planet what the NUC does for NZ.
