Introduction

Covidence is web-based software used to streamline the process of conducting systematic reviews and facilitate collaborative work. 

Key features

  • Save time by enabling multiple researchers to screen a set of citations, abstracts and full text articles, as well as find duplicates
  • Includes customisable data extraction forms
  • Automatically populates Risk of Bias assessment and a Prisma flow chart

Create an Account via UC

1. Click here to request an invitation to join the UC Covidence account. Use your UC email address.

2. You will receive an email invitation. Click the link in the email to confirm your account.

3. You will be asked to login to Covidence to accept the invitation. If you don't already have a Covidence account, you will need to sign-up. Use your UC email address as your Covidence username.

Covidence Knowledge Base

Lots of additional resources and frequently asked questions can be found via the Covidence Knowledge Base including: 

  • Setting up a review
  • Extraction 1 data extraction: designed for reviews of interventions with a PICO(T) structure, though other reviews might benefit from many of the fields and sections
  • Extraction 2 data extraction: designed for other review types, eg scoping reviews, qualitative reviews etc. Can be used for single reviewer extraction.
