Because MOOC (Massively Open Online Courses) courses are openly available to the public worldwide (not just UC students) MOOC/edX content is not covered by the CLNZ licence (or any other UC licences).

There are some suggestions on this page of content you may be able to use without breaching copyright.
Please discuss MOOC course content you are not sure about with your Flexible Learning Advisor.

For third-party created material, you can seek permission from the copyright owner to use the material - see Seeking permission

• Link to Online Content

For third-party created resources openly available on the internet, provide citations and links to the material from your course material - students can access the resource at the publisher source instead. You can also provide citations/links to material e.g. textbooks, e-books, journal articles etc. that are not free and encourage students to purchase the item for their own study.
