What are journals?

Journals are published regularly (monthly or quarterly).  They publish the latest academic research and are usually peer-reviewed or refereed.  The articles have been reviewed to ensure they are of high quality and there are no errors in the methodology or analysis. They are an important source of information for University essays and academic research.  

You can find journal articles by searching MultiSearch or using one of the databases below.

If the Library doesn't provide access to the journal, you can request a copy through the Interloan service.
