If you receive the Server Busy dialog when attempting to use the EndNote Cite While You Write (CWYW) tools for Microsoft Word on a Windows system, you can do the following:

1. Click to Cancel the "Server Busy" dialog.
2. Switch to the EndNote application.
3. Click the Tools menu > Cite While You Write [CWYW] > Format Bibliography.
4. In the Format Bibliography dialog, click on the Instant Formatting tab.
5. Click Settings.
6. Uncheck the option "Check for Citation Changes" and click OK.
7. Click OK.

You should now be able to work with your document without receiving the Server Busy dialog. If the problem persists, you can follow these steps:

1. Click to Cancel the "Server Busy" dialog.
2. Switch to the EndNote application.
3. Click the Tools menu > Cite While You Write [CWYW] > Format Bibliography.
4. In the Format Bibliography dialog, uncheck the option to "Link in-text citations to references in the bibliography."
5. Click OK.
